Family protection Family protection is carried out under the Family Law, Law on Protection against Domestic Violence ("Official Gazette of RS", br.118/05) through the following procedures: -the conciliation of spouses as a compulsory part of divorce proceedings by the courts, and where there are minors, -the process of regulating the relations of parents and children to regulate: -the rights and duties of parents and children, -the exercise of parental rights and responsibilities, -the supervision of the guardianship, -the extension of parental rights (the legal age), -the withdrawal of parental rights, -the termination of parental rights, -the process of establishing and contesting paternity and maternity, -the process of adoption of minor children - complete and incomplete adoption and termination of adoption, -the tasks of guardianship of minors and adult persons and guardianship for special cases (special guardians), -teenage marriages, -the process of support of children and their parents or other relatives, - the placement of children and youth in institutions and other family -the property relations within the family (protection of property rights of the child, the division of joint property of spouses, etc.).   Made with Xara © Center for Social Work Doboj 2011 Institution Center for Social Work                  D O B O J
