Made with Xara © Center for Social Work Doboj 2011 Maternity allowance Realizes every mother for the first three children in the family, for a period of 365 days from the first day of the following month by the birth of the child, based on the submitted request. If the request is made within 30 days of the birth of a child right is exercised  from the first day of the following month, and if the request is submitted after  that period right is exercised from the first day of the following month and the deadline for application is 90 days after birth. Exercising the right to maternity allowance is conditioned on: • property qualification  which is determined  in this Law and the percentages of the nominal amount of the maternity allowance determines the director of the public Fund for child care for each year • and that mother is not employed,  or is not uisng  the right on salary compensation during maternity leave Institution Center for Social Work                  D O B O J
